Forbes recently announced Robyn Rihanna Fenty as the wealthiest female musician in the world with an asset of $600 million. Her fortune stems from various sources including her career as a singer, her cosmetic line and soon, her designer fashion house.
The 31-year-old celebrity and entrepreneur overtook major names in the industry including Madonna with $570 million, Celine Dion with $450 million and Beyonce with $400 million.
According to Forbes, Fenty Beauty is the major source of Fenty’s assets. As co-owner of the brand, alongside LVMH, the singer gained recognition and additional assets with the line’s success. The beauty brand reportedly made $100 million within the first week. It gained commendations for its inclusive releases which include 40 shades for its foundation.
Aside from her success in the cosmetic industry, Fenty also gains acknowledgement in fashion. She is also the co-owner of Savage X Fenty lingerie line, along with TechStyle Fashion Group. This business also allowed the musician to earn millions.
In addition to this collaboration, she announced her second partnership with LVMH, this time for a fashion line, aptly called Fenty. This clothing firm is set to release clothes, accessories, jewelry and shoes. It is also set to be inclusive with sizes up to U.S. 14. The house was recently launched in May 2019.
Rihanna says that LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault was ‘enthusiastic’ about the collaboration. The business magnate made this possible by trusting the singer and her vision. The so-called Fenty lifestyle is set to exist under the company that houses Dior and Givenchy. It is also the first house LVMH released after over 30 years.
Forbes remarks that along with earnings from the beauty sector, her fashion ventures and musical career ‘make up the rest of her fortune.’
